When Samsung introduced the Galaxy S20 Ultra back in 2020, mostly everyone wrote off the phone’s 100x camera zoom capability as a gimmick. While you could get great photos up until 30x zoom, going past that usually gave you smudgy results with next to no clarity.

With the Galaxy S21 Ultra, things didn’t really change all that much, but with the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung’s new AI magic seems to be doing a great job at finally making that crazy 100x magnification actually useful.
