Let's kick things off with Orange County. Today, we're looking at a low risk of rip currents with surf heights ranging from 1 to 3 feet. So, nothing too crazy out there today. Just watch out for those sets! And if you're heading to Newport Beach, be mindful of the tides - we've got some low tides in the morning and high tides in the afternoon. Plus, there's a west swell coming your way from 270 degrees.

Now, looking ahead to Saturday, we're expecting a high risk of rip currents with surf heights increasing to 3 to 5 feet and local sets possibly reaching 6 feet. Make sure you're on your A-game and stay safe out there!

Moving down to San Diego County, today's rip current risk is moderate with surf heights of 2 to 4 feet. Keep an eye out for those west swells coming in from 280 degrees. And over in La Jolla, tides will be playing a bit of hide and seek throughout the day.

For Saturday, get ready for a high risk of rip currents with surf heights ranging from 3 to 6 feet. It's going to be a great day to catch some waves, especially with that south swell and west swell on the horizon.

Remember, always respect the ocean and be mindful of the conditions. Stay safe and have a blast out there, surfers!
