Saturday steps it up a notch with 2 to 4 foot waves and a moderate rip current risk. Expect a mixed swell coming from 190 and 280 degrees - translation: multiple wave directions making things interesting for surfers.

Now shifting down to San Diego County - things are getting spicier. Today's surf sits at 2 to 4 feet with a moderate rip current risk. Water temperature is slightly warmer ranging 56 to 60 degrees. La Jolla's tide schedule shows a high tide around 1:54 AM at 4.2 feet.

Weekend vibes in San Diego are intense - we're talking a high rip current risk with waves potentially hitting 5 feet. The swell's coming from west and south directions around 290 and 210 degrees respectively. Advanced surfers will want to paddle out and test their skills.
