Listen Later

Surf's up, wave riders! Let's break down the coastal conditions for Southern California's hottest beach zones.

We're looking at a mellow couple of days along Orange County and San Diego coastlines with consistent 2 to 4 foot swells that'll keep things interesting without getting too wild. Water temperatures are sitting pretty between 56 and 61 degrees - wetsuit weather for sure.

For Newport Beach and La Jolla, we've got some sweet south swells rolling in around 190 to 210 degrees. San Diego's got a bonus west swell mixing things up at 270 to 280 degrees, which means some nice texture and variety for surfers and ocean enthusiasts.

Tide action is looking dynamic with multiple high and low cycles. Newport Beach will see low tides dipping to 0.8 feet and highs reaching 5.5 feet. La Jolla's tracking similarly with comparable tide ranges.

The good news for all you ocean lovers - rip current risk is LOW. While always stay alert, conditions are looking pretty chill. No thunderstorm threats on the horizon, just clean ocean vibes.

Grab your board, check your gear, and get ready for some solid California wave riding. Remember to respect the ocean, watch for changing conditions, and enjoy the stoke!

Stay salty, surf fam!
