Surf's up, wave warriors! This is your coastal condition captain bringing you the hottest beach intel for Southern California.

Orange County and San Diego are serving up some serious swell action this weekend. Buckle up for a wild ride with high rip current risks that'll test even the most seasoned ocean adventurers.

Let's break it down. Today in Orange County, we're looking at 3 to 5 foot waves with a gnarly mixed swell coming from 190 and 250 degrees. Water temps are hovering between 56 and 67 degrees - wetsuit recommended! The rip current risk is cranked up to HIGH, so surfers and swimmers need to bring their A-game and stay alert.

San Diego's scene isn't much different. They're rocking moderate to high rip current risks with 2 to 4 foot waves today, climbing to 3 to 5 feet tomorrow. Water's a bit warmer at 59 to 64 degrees, with swells dancing in from 210 and 260 degrees.

Both regions are showing mixed swells that'll create some unpredictable conditions. Tidal movements are looking active with multiple high and low tide cycles throughout the day.

Pro tip: These aren't beginner waves. If you're not confident in your ocean skills, stick to the beach and watch the pros do their thing. Safety first, shredders!

No thunderstorms in the forecast, so at least Mother Nature is giving us that break. But those rip currents? They're the real deal. Stay sharp, stay safe, and may your waves be epic!
