Surf's up, wave riders! Get ready for an epic coastal adventure along Northern and Central California's shoreline. Thursday's looking like a classic California dream with mostly sunny skies and some serious northwest swells rolling in.

Northwest facing beaches are cranking out massive waves between 6 to 9 feet - perfect for experienced surfers looking to test their skills. Southwest facing beaches will offer slightly mellower 3 to 5 foot waves, ideal for intermediate riders. Water temperatures are hovering around a chilly 53 degrees, so don't forget that wetsuit!

Winds will be blowing northwest at 10 to 16 miles per hour, creating some textbook conditions for catching killer rides. Temperatures will range from a crisp 52 to 62 degrees - typical Northern California coastal weather.

Tide schedule is looking dynamic with a morning high tide at 6.0 feet around 3:17 AM, dropping to a negative 0.6 feet by mid-morning. An afternoon high tide returns at 4.2 feet, setting up some potentially interesting wave breaks.

Friday brings slightly smaller surf in the 3 to 6 foot range, with partly cloudy skies and temperatures warming up to a sweet 55 to 68 degrees. Winds will calm down, making for more predictable conditions.

Local authorities recommend checking current beach conditions before heading out. Always respect the ocean, know your limits, and surf smart. Catch you on the waves!
