Both Adobe and Oracle have based their client conference in San Francisco for years. And it has been a real boon to the local economy.

For instance Oracle has held their famous Open World Conference, a combination client conference and a leading edge tech symposium, in San Francisco for over 20 years. It has brought thousands of visitors to the city, last year's estimate was about 60,000 visitors representing an estimated $64, million in revenue for businesses in the city.

But all that is about to change.
