Surf's up, beach lovers! Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands are serving up some seriously sweet wave conditions this week.

Today's looking mellow with surf heights around 3 feet across most regions. Expect mostly sunny skies with scattered showers dancing along the coastlines. Winds will be cruising from the east at a gentle 5 to 15 miles per hour - perfect for catching some rays.

Tuesday brings a bit more action, especially around San Juan and North Central Puerto Rico. Rip current risk kicks up to moderate, so water warriors need to stay alert. Surf heights bump up to 4 feet with mostly cloudy conditions and numerous showers potentially rolling through. Thunderstorms might make a surprise appearance, adding some dramatic flair to your beach day.

Midweek gets even more interesting. Wednesday and Thursday promise consistent surf heights around 4 to 5 feet. Partly sunny to mostly sunny skies will provide a gorgeous backdrop for your ocean adventures. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will keep things unpredictable and exciting.

By Friday, things mellow out with surf heights dropping back to 3 to 4 feet. Mostly sunny conditions with occasional scattered showers make for a perfect wind-down to the week.

Pro tip for all you beach enthusiasts: While rip current risks are generally low, always stay vigilant near groins, jetties, reefs, and piers. These areas can create unexpected water dynamics.

Whether you're in San Juan, St. Thomas, or Culebra, the waves are calling. Grab your board, sunscreen, and sense of adventure!
