Listen Later

Hey surf enthusiasts! This is your epic surf report for Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, coming in hot from the National Weather Service.

Buckle up for some serious wave action today! We're looking at massive 6-foot swells across most coastal regions, but riders need to be on high alert. The rip current risk is cranked up to HIGH until noon, which means these waters are not for the faint of heart.

Beaches from San Juan to Northeast Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands are serving up some serious maritime drama. Expect mostly sunny skies with scattered showers adding some tropical spice to the mix. Winds are cruising in from the east at a steady 5 to 10 miles per hour, creating perfect conditions for some adrenaline-pumping surf.

As we roll into Monday, things mellow out slightly. Rip current risk drops to moderate, with surf heights chilling around 4-5 feet. The weather remains mostly sunny with occasional scattered showers keeping things interesting.

Looking ahead, Tuesday through Thursday will see gradually decreasing surf heights ranging from 2-4 feet. Expect predominantly sunny conditions with occasional showers and light southeast to east winds.

Pro tip for all you wave warriors: While the surf looks tempting, respect the ocean's power. Those rip currents are no joke, especially near groins, jetties, and reefs. Stay sharp, stay safe, and may the waves be ever in your favor!

Catch you on the flip side, surfers!
