Listen Later

Surf's up, wave riders! Get ready for an epic week of maritime adventure across Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Today kicks off with mellow 3-foot swells and gentle east winds hovering around 5 to 10 mph, perfect for catching some smooth rides along the coastlines.

But hold onto your boards because Tuesday's bringing the heat! We're looking at a moderate rip current risk, with surf heights climbing to a solid 4 feet. From San Juan to Culebra, expect mostly sunny skies with scattered showers adding some tropical spice to your day. Wind speeds will pick up, dancing between 10 to 20 mph across different regions.

Midweek continues the aquatic excitement with consistent 4-foot waves. The North Central and Northeast regions might see some thunderstorm action, so stay alert and keep those surf skills sharp. Wednesday and Thursday promise partly sunny conditions with east winds moderating between 10 to 15 mph.

As we cruise into Friday, things start to mellow out. Surf heights will drop back to around 2 to 3 feet, with lighter winds around 5 mph. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms might make an appearance, adding a bit of dramatic flair to your beach day.

Pro tip for all you water warriors: even with low rip current risks, always stay vigilant near groins, jetties, and reefs. Mother Nature loves to keep us on our toes!

Catch those waves, stay safe, and ride the Puerto Rican and Virgin Islands surf with style!
