Surf's up, beach lovers! The National Weather Service is calling for some seriously sweet conditions across Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Today's looking mostly sunny with scattered showers that might pop up to keep things interesting.

Surf riders, heads up! We're seeing consistent waves around 3 to 4 feet across most regions. The North Central and Northwest Puerto Rico zones are riding slightly bigger swells today with moderate rip current risks, so experienced surfers might want to catch those waves carefully.

East winds are going to be your playground companion, blowing anywhere from 5 to 20 mph depending on your specific beach. Culebra and Vieques are looking at some spicier winds around 15 to 20 mph, perfect for windsurfers and kiteboarders seeking a challenge.

The weekend forecast keeps the party rolling with similar conditions. Expect partly to mostly sunny skies, scattered showers, and those steady 3 to 4 foot waves. Southeast winds will gradually take over, adding some extra energy to your beach day.

Safety first, wave chasers! While most areas are showing low rip current risks, always be aware of your surroundings, especially near groins, jetties, and reefs. Those spots can create unexpected current conditions.

Monday's looking like a carbon copy of the weekend - sunny, hazy, with isolated showers and consistent surf. So grab your board, sunscreen, and get ready for some Caribbean wave action!

Stay stoked and stay safe out there!
