When one envisions the archetype of the Great Mother, dieties such as Mother Mary, Gaia or Hathor may come to mind. Today I’m sitting with Susan San Tara, a Licensed Therapist and Certified Hakomi Trainer. San Tara walks through life as an embodiment of the Great Mother and in our discussion she expanded my conception of Her way, way beyond what I’ve held in the past. 

We touch on the challenges of mothering our own children as well as the Great Mother’s role in our current political situation.

My guest on this, the 33rd and final episode of Season 1, is Greyson Kirby. Greyson is deeply committed to the path of personal alchemy as the Temple Keeper of the Archetype of Initiator.

Greyson talks about empowering ourselves to speak truth in the face of relationships and situations being cut from our lives. She views this as an opportunity to hold ourselves in compassion and choose another way. She says that the Initiator won’t give you the answer that you want, but the answer that is true.
