Wholly means totally... so is this verse talking about total sanctification, or sinless perfection? What does it mean to be sanctified? Is sanctification a process, a position, or a practical reality? Next to salvation, the doctrine of sanctification is the most important New Testament doctrine. Often misunderstood and maligned, many shy away from the word altogether.
