Sandlin Gaither, started bartending at age 5 and works primarily at the Grey Eagle Tavern and Music Hall in Asheville, North Carolina. Also a photographer, he has taken hundreds of portraits of musicians that have graced the pages of Rolling Stone, The New York Times, Paste, No Depression, Filter, and The Village Voice. He shoots at the Grey Eagle during the idle time between load-in and showtime and the venue is a gallery which displays dozens of his prints.
