This episode highlights the powerful community-building efforts of Mobile Meals of Wenatchee, a nonprofit volunteer-driven organization that serves hot nutritious meals to some of our community's most vulnerable adults. I spoke with Sandy Briggs, the coordinator of Mobile Meals of Wenatchee who has followed in her mother's footsteps to help the organization meet the needs of individuals who are not able to cook for themselves. For a sliding scale fee, Mobile Meals drivers deliver hot meals on weekdays to more than 100 homes in the Wenatchee Valley. All of their funds come from the local community. The important connections they make with people who cannot get out into the community is truly a blessing. en delivering Mobile Meals since 1971
