Country singer songwriter, Sandy Louise, chats to the Big Brekky about her latest single 'Cry Out My Name'. The Newcastle based musician brings us a bush ballad which tells us the story of ‘Elizabeth Jesse Hickman’, A.K.A. ‘The Lady Bushranger’, a bushranger from the 1920s who established herself as leader of a gang of cattle thieves in the area that is now Wollemi National Park.
Co-written with Cheryl Anderson, and produced and recorded by Bill Chambers, who features on the track, the song is part of Louise's upcoming album 'Live for Today', to be released in November.
