Transitioning from a fun thing to do, to now a full time career, Dr. Angela Tabiri has taken Math and made it accessible to all. Voted as the world's most interesting mathematician and popularly known as the Math Queen, Angela shares her love for Math, her research having broad applications in quantum computing and her passion for mentoring young female students.

Current material challenges have necessitated the need to provide innovative solutions in the polymer materials space. Dr. Saed has led this charge in his research on stimuli responsive materials, having diverse applications. Dr. Thomas Tagoe is a neuroscientist at the University of Ghana. His research focuses on how our environment influences the structure and function of our brains in response to our experiences. Dr. Nebie is a an anthropologist at the Arizona State University where she works hand in hand with local communities in sub-Saharan Africa to better understand the causes and effects of climate change with an emphasis on indigenous knowledge, in order to recommend solutions that will influence impactful policies.

In  this episode, Dr. Michael Asigbaase, lecturer at The University of  Energy and Natural Resources located in Sunyani, Ghana, discusses his  research where he seeks to translate indigenous knowledge about  environmental management into mainstream science in order to make our  natural resources available for use to those coming after us.
