Deep in the dark heart of the Chult jungles, Jose and Andrew finally discover the lost ruins of I’jin. Amidst this decaying structure, the vines entwine the stones as though nature itself has seen to it to keep its contents constrained. But the tenacious nature of Men wins out, and soon they find a tome of forbidden knowledge. Upon reciting the ancient text and chanting the infernal incantation: “LAVAS SUS MANOS” They are transported to a place of unspeakable horrors… 1930s New England. Here they are now victims and soon to be the prey of THE horror TTRPG, Call of Cthulhu. Jose scrambles to share what he has learned with his compatriot, from character creation to sanity checks, but it’s too late, a voice from beyond the corporeal realm beckons Andrew, alluring him to horrors that go further back into historical fiction. The downward spiral has already taken them, will they survive learning this great and terrible cosmic truth?
