In this episode, I tell a brief history of my home town, Saint Petersburg, the second largest Russian city. I mention a few key events in the history of the city – this will help you learn or revise how to say in Russian in what year something happened. Also notice that I sometimes switch from the Past Tense to the Present Tense, although referring to the bygone events.
