INTERVIEW: Taxi association SANTACO is currently meeting with Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula following the decision to fill taxis to full capacity. Taxi associations say they’ve repeatedly expressed concern over the financial viability of the industry due to Covid-19 regulations. The industry also says they’re unhappy that aircrafts are able to travel interprovincially, while taxis are not. We’re joined on the line by Thabisho Molelekwa, SANTACO spokesperson.
