When was the last time you felt the wind and paused?
Today I want to introduce you to Santiago, a human that chooses to view life as not just an observer but in full gratitude for the reality that we get to participate in this life as well
Santiago is one of my dear friends here in Mexico, someone who will make time to share tacos, and talk, someone who will text and always extend an invite, and someone who will remind you to pause and appreciate the beauty in the nature around us
We chat about what it means to explore life instead of view it as a path that must be defined, how we feel and begin to see time pass as we see those around us age, and how connection is what makes life rich and beautiful
He shares how fear of how his dad might respond to something deeply important weighed on him, but also how he approached that conversation with the understanding and acceptance that we cannot please everyone and should not let go of ourselves to do so, but how his father replied in love and how it changed and grew their relationship
We chat about stillness, about how loss and being present as someone we love passes is a gift to them and ourselves, and how it’s so important to stay curious about life as we value our own time here
Santiago is one that will make you feel like you have paused time when you sit with him, as if you are being brought back to a chance to see slowly and simply what exists around you
So tune in today and meet this sweet friend of mine, and be reminded of what comes when we see who we are, what we get to exist amongst, and who we get to share this life with
And to you Santiago thank you, thank you for your joy for the world around you, for your sincerity in sharing time, for the way you genuinely show up in your own life and the lives of me and our friends you are a treasure to me
