COVID-19 took the world by complete surprise and turned it upside down. 
Most businesses are now in a tough struggle protecting employees, understanding the risks to their business, and managing the supply chain disruptions caused by the efforts to contain the spread of virus.
While the full impact of this epidemic is hard to grasp, I am happy that our SAP CIO Florian Roth, whose main task now is not only to keep the lights on but navigate our foundation through these rough waters, took the time to talk with me about the current situation, why digitalization helps us not only in times of COVID and how SAP uses its own technology to become an Intelligent Enterprise.

Clare is the Global Vice President of Analyst Relations at SAP. The core mission of this team is to engage with and assimilate industry analyst perspectives into SAP’s business strategy AND ensure analysts around the globe have accurate and timely education on SAP.    
Prior to this role, Clare was head of Analyst Relations at Microsoft and spent her prior years in product marketing, where her team was responsible for driving the technical cloud scenarios. Clare loves spending time with her family. She is also deeply committed to the St. Paul community in Petit Trou, Haiti and affordable housing causes in Seattle.
