Hector, the reigning Olympic gold medalist in giant slalom, won her first World Cup in 2014, and it was seven years before she found herself in that top position again. In this interview she shares her journey through injuries and other obstacles in her career to date. Hector had the season of a lifetime last year, finishing second overall in the World Cup GS standings, and she’s mentally and athletically positioned herself for a brilliant season ahead.
