Rising global hunger level is putting in jeopardy the target to end all forms of malnutrition by 2030 with at least 821 million people faced with starvation.
At a global conference held in Bangkok, the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO) and the International Food and Research Institute (IFPRI) have warned that progress in ending hunger has stalled for three consecutive years and called for concerted efforts to achieve zero hunger worldwide. The meeting brings together agriculture ministers as well experts and delegates from Africa and Asia.
