Sarah Rogerson is facing off against Patrick Nelson in the Democratic Party primary on June 23rd for the right to challenge James Tedisco in November in the 44th Senate District (Saratoga County, City of Schenectady, Niskayuna). Sarah is an Albany Law School professor and immigration attorney with over 20 years of experience in public-interest law. She is the founding director of Albany Law School’s Immigration Law Clinic and currently leads the Edward P. Swyer Justice Center. She also served on the Niskayuna School Board, contributing to initiatives such as electric bus conversion and safe firearm storage. She also has the Working Families Party line.
