In this episode of Fashion Unfiltered, we spoke to Lexi Stronghilis of "By.Lexi Styling," who provides styling services and creative direction across editorial, commercial, runway, event, and more recently personal styling. Lexi shares with us the winding path she took after graduating amidst the pandemic with a degree in business and marketing that ultimately led to her starting her own styling business. She also touches on the value of hands-on experience, tertiary education, and having a mentor, as well as the challenges of working for yourself. Lexi imparts her advice for breaking into the styling industry; wisdom that is pertinent for anyone wanting to work in fashion, and any creative industries.
