In the complicated world of finance, a short seller is someone who profits from someone else’s failure.  A short seller makes a prediction (similar to a bet) that a company will lose its current value.  In the Book of Job, Satan also made a prediction that Job would fail in his time of trial.  But Richard encourages us that through God, we have the power to defeat Satan’s prediction of failure.
