As I mentioned in Mark chapter 12, Jesus faced a multitude of adversaries throughout His ministry. Jesus' adversaries were not simply skeptical but openly confrontational, using clever tactics to deceive and entrap Him with their complex schemes. Their disdain for Him ran deep, leading them to conspire relentlessly for His capture and eventual crucifixion. But before the crucifixion, God gave Him divine protection so He could fulfill His mission. This example is no different from what the enemy tries to do with people. 

The enemy aims to dictate our lives, desiring to take credit for our successes and direct our purpose, overshadowing the role of God. At times, this tactic is used to bring us down, divert us from our true calling, or destroy our character. The motivations behind their plans stem from feelings of jealousy. This jealousy obscures their judgment, resulting in choices that may not benefit them or us.
