The maelstrom of rumours, fake news and actual news continues to gather pace both here in Australia and across the globe. In the past 24 hours alone, a supposed bat-spreading pandemic threat has been identified, Benjamin Netanyahu is set to land in Washington DC any minute now, the stories about Joe Biden’s successor continue to evolve and a number of horrific incidents have allegedly occurred involving Australian victims overnight in Paris just over 48 hours out from the Olympics.
If you’re empathetic to the plight of those suffering and you’re awake and watching the dots form and connect each day, it can be incredibly exhausting to both digest and discern all of the above; but Deception and Chaos are Satan’s happy places. They’re his playgrounds in which his manipulates both the participants and the observers. So for those of us who like to keep ahead of the curve, while looking up with the blessed expectation of Jesus Christ’s soon return, we can often find ourselves in a state of push-and-pull or fight-and-flight. And that’s exactly where Satan wants us.
So where does that leave us?
