Comedian Shabana Rehman Gaarder was raised Muslim and now calls herself a freethinker. She has been featured in Time magazine and the New York Times. Her humor is described as shocking, but always has wit and purpose—most famously when she lifted a militant Islamic leader off the ground during a public debate, infuriating (and emasculating) him.
