Having sung in response to the Lord’s deliverance, the Israelites now face hardship in the desert. Exodus 16 will remind us that God is our gracious provider. Even when we grumble, He meets His people in kindness. Most importantly, we will see how the manna in the desert points us towards the real “bread of heaven”, the Lord Jesus.
