Satsang - [Hindi]

Listen Later

The question is that Gurbani gives much importance to Satsang (good company). What is the meaning of that? I heard it somewhere that you will always reflect on the top five people in your life. Whatever you do, your manner of acting, your manner of thinking, speaking is directly affected by the top five people you are surrounded by or deeply influenced by in your life. It's a similar principle. The more Satsang we do, the more pure tendencies we will have. What is the meaning of Satsang? We were talking about Buddha. There are three mantras in bodhidharma. Buddha said that I am your first refuge, so come under my shelter. Dharma is your second refuge. Sang (a good company) is your third refuge. He called it the three jewels of refuge. If you are in the shelter of these three, then life will sail through. Otherwise, everyone is somehow living this life in one way or the other. Some days we are delighted, and we feel that nothing is more beautiful than this life. Listen to this discourse by Om Swami to find out more.
