The Remarkable, Irresistible Erie - A Musical Concert

Join us in the Great Hall of the Arkell Museum and Canajoharie Library for a 90 minute concert presenting songs and stories of the people, places, and the history of the original and enlarged Erie Canal. The concert features songs b folklorist and historian George Ward, Canadian Joe Grant, Dan Berggren and Jean Ritchie along with other familiar traditional Erie Canal Songs.
Episode 441-Giovanni Ruscitti of Colorado is author of the memoir Cobblestones, Conversations, and Corks: A Son’s Discovery of His Italian Heritage. Ruscitti chronicles the history of his Italian immigrant family and a visit to his ancestral homeland of Abruzzo.
