In episode 3 of The Marcus Hendricks Show, we have the first-ever Saturday Special. This bonus episode is all about self-love. We often confuse many words that contain the "self" prefix as synonymous or interchangeable. And while most of them present the same root idea of building up one's well-being in a way that best serves them, I believe that self-love is the start of all things good. Like the cliche says, "how can you expect anyone else to love you if you don't first love yourself?" People will often say how simple such a phrase makes the concept seem. And, yes, it is a process to develop and continue developing a sense of self-love, but cliches exist for a reason- they're usually simple truths.
Let's all make the effort to love ourselves a little bit better. In turn, we become better able to love those around us. Nobody said it would be easy, but it's damn sure worth it.
