Saturn is the ringed planet with 63 moons. When we speak of Saturn, we really mean the entire system--all the moons and rings and the planet. Humanity has a long history with Saturn but that doesn't mean that our understanding of Saturn is complete and it doesn't mean that our understanding of Saturn is accurate. Saturn, because of its size and because of its location in our solar system, represents the boundary between what we have experienced and what we have not yet experienced. We are being invited to cross that boundary--but it is a boundary that will change us forever. Once we cross it, we can't go back.
