No matter what you believe about Jesus, you have an image in your mind of who he is. Most people picture someone unwaveringly kind, caring, and gentle. And he is those things. But if you read through the Gospels, Jesus regularly said and did things that seem like that opposite of the way we picture him. Why is that?
