David grew up in Wichita, Kansas – a blue collar community of 300,000 near the Oklahoma border. David is a two-time graduate of the University of Kansas, Bachelors and Masters. After graduating the University of Kansas, he spent two years traveling around to rural and inner-city schools to perform live theater. David also held leadership roles at KU, the University of Nebraska, and Arizona State University.
