This is Palm Sunday, the day we remember Jesus entry into Jerusalem, bringing it to the Roman and religious authorities. This year, I am struck by the similarities between the story of the first Palm Sunday and the marches of the people demanding their right to life free from constant fear of violence, and the "authority" who dreamed of having a grand military parade down Pennsylvania Ave. Back in Jesus' time, and just yesterday, people are begging to be saved.
