I'm an American now, but I was born in South America - in Argentina to be precise. And many of the churches that were there, the old buildings, used to have a sign on the street that said, "Save your soul." Yes, I used to think, but how do you save your soul? Okay, the answer comes from the word of God itself: run to Jesus. Run to Jesus. In Luke chapter 19 Jesus Christ said, "The Son of Man came to seek and to save those who were lost."
If you're going to save your soul, you can't do it on your own. But you can run to Jesus Christ because He specifically said that He came to seek and to save those who were lost. Now, what does He save us from? He saves us from eternal condemnation. Saves us from being separated from God for all eternity once we die. And he also came to save us from poverty and misery on this earth. Yes, Jesus Christ came to seek and to save those who were lost, but how can I save my soul? Ah! I need to admit that I'm fallen. I need to admit that I need forgiveness. I need to confess it to God and then believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. I did it when I was 12 and I've been saved ever since.
