Many Christians are burdened by uncertainty as to whether they will be saved. This often happens because we think that salvation is our work instead of God's, and we're not sure whether we have done enough. In Romans 5:6-11, we're reminded that salvation comes to the undeserving because of God's love in sending his Son. Because salvation is God's work, it gives us assurance for the future.

This talk is the first in a series called "Just For Starters" on the foundations of Christian living.
