The writer of Hebrews has introduced the voice of the Spirit into the discussion of the Old Testament system of worship and the New Testament reality of Holiness. The Spirit indicated by the old that the new was coming and that it would supersede the old completely and eternally. No longer would God's people stand OUTSIDE, but they would be welcome so far INTO the presence of God that God Himself would literally be INSIDE of them!
