Saved to Serve
Galatians 5:13
“For you, my brothers, were called to freedom; only do not let your freedom become an opportunity for the sinful nature (worldliness, selfishness), but through love serve and seek the best for one another.”
Galatians 5:13 AMP
Thanks be to God our Heavenly Father who through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ has freed us from the grip of death that accompanies the law.
You have been saved from
from terrible pit of sin, abuse, lack, failure, addiction
Now what?
Do you know your experience has a purpose?
“who comforts and encourages us in every trouble so that we will be able to comfort and encourage those who are in any kind of trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”
2 Corinthians 1:4 AMP
God freed you from that web of addiction in order that you may help others struggling with the same thing through your redemption story.
I was sharing this same lesson I learnt from Apostle Paul with a group of women - the lesson is that at every opportunity he got, he shared his story of redemption and through this - many scholars were saved through him - these were people the “unlearned Fisherman Peter” wouldn’t have been able to reach.
Your story is what somebody needs to hear to break from the lie of the enemy that tells them “THEY CAN’T BE FREE”
“YOUR STORY TELLS THEM YES THEY CAN”
Hear this - what if the longer you stay mute, the longer you procrastinate, - the longer they stay bound in their affliction.
Okay… this is one excuse I allowed myself to be held by for so long - I used to tell myself there are many other people that are telling their story - that should suffice. But I realized - there are generations tied to my destiny and they are eagerly waiting - not for the other person, but FOR ME.
You were saved to serve - it’s time to quit indulging yourself and step up NOW for your PURPOSE CALLS.
LET US PRAY:
Dear Heavenly Father, we are grateful for our glorious destiny! Thank you for saving us. I pray you grant us the grace and the power to will and to do for your good pleasure. Our heart is willing and our hands are ready to serve. in Jesus name! Amen! Amen!! Amen!!!
