Our sea turtles are in trouble. With the global problems of light pollution, trash in the ocean, development and sand too hot to produce males they’re on the road to extinction. Despite some strides being made to fix the light pollution problem in Florida little change has occurred. I spoke with two Miami citizens, Sara Velasquez and Jennifer Hayley Rotker, about trying to help educate the public on the perils that sea turtles face and what can be done to save them.
