Very slow

When 236 pages is read in 12 hours, you know there's a problem. It was so slow I was going to stop listening. Then I turned the speed of it up to 1.4 and it was better. I'm not fond of the western accent, but it was appropriate for the book. I thought it was a clean romance, but not so, and was happy to have the fast forward button a few times. Wouldn't listen in the car w/kids. If I were to get the second in the series, I would read, not listen.

WASTE OF MONEY

terrible storyline, terribly written, unrealistic and dumb. Terrible performance as well. Three chapters into it I wanted to give up because I was so annoying and bored. But since I spent money on it I figured I better wait it out and see if it gets better. It never did. I should have given up after the third chapter

Exceptional Storytelling

This was my first time reading anything by Sandy James. I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional storytelling. The characters had depth and were very believable. The story flowed and kept me turning pages and listening until I could finish. I will definitely be reading more written by this author. Cynthia Barrett did a great job narrating. Her voice portrayal of the characters was spot on. Grace and Adam's story call to life with her performance.

Finding Love when you least expect it.

Would you listen to Saving Grace again? Why?

Yes, if I didn't have anything else. There are too many books to read to reread. Although, I might consider it. I loved this book. It had all the elements a good book should have.

What other book might you compare Saving Grace to and why?

Redeemed by Sandy James. I really, really like her books.

Which scene was your favorite?

I don't know that I could pick just one. I loved the whole book. Maybe when Steven Shay finally got his due.

Yes, but unfortunately, that wasn't possible.

This is one of the best books I've read/listened too lately.
