Deborah Bock received a B.A. in psychology and an MSW from the University of California at Berkeley. She worked as a bilingual (Spanish-English) school social worker for ten years in New York and California before moving to Alaska. Currently, Deborah teaches Spanish at UAA, she volunteers as a mentor for refugees arriving from Africa, and she is actively involved in the movement to bring trauma-sensitive practices to schools. Deborah has been a friend of AUUF since 2000 and a member since 2005.
