This is a co-hosted podcast where we discuss the effects of the latest decision from the ultra-conservative Supreme Court. A remembrance of the sacrifices men and women have made for us today.  On this Memorial Day, let us remember the unity and freedom they fought for.  We need to take a moment and reflect on what they gave and instead of talking at each other we need to talk WITH each other sharing what we have in common, not our differences.  Whatever separates us: race, gender, religion, politics is minor when you consider all that we remember and honor on this day.  Thank you for listening. cm

I am frustrated, angry, sad all at the same time.  19 children murdered while the police on the scene stood around waiting for the command to go in.  The GOP politicians send their thoughts and prayers but refuse to do the right thing, reasonable gun laws.  In this segment, I did not address what needs to be done by law, just something must be done.  Guns designed for warfare have no place in the hands of civilians.  Manufacturers wanted to make money on their military models.....and now these weapons are in the hands of anyway with money to buy them.

My co-host (daughter) decided you wanted to lead on an undisclosed topic.  So she did.  To my surprise, she wanted to discuss our recent purchases of an Oculus Quest 2.  When they visited, she decided, after trying out mine, that she wanted one.  So it was our topic.  It sound like an infomercial for one, but neither of us are getting paid for it, lol......It was fun sharing experiences.....

In this podcast, Karen and I discuss the war in the Ukraine.  Some history and current situation as well as the sad humanitarian crisis.

President Biden took office with the nation divided and no plans by the former administration to end the pandemic.  By April/May everyone 18 and older had the opportunity to be vaccinated.  But the majority of Republicans refused.  The result Delta - infections, hospitalizations and deaths increased. Still resistance, in comes Omicron and the results are once again but even more infections and hospitalizations.  Even within his own party, he cannot count on support for what needs to be done.  One senator blocks most of the agenda that would help many in his own state.  Sad.  Let's put the blame not on the current president but on the former one and his apologists.........
