God is the protector. He keeps his eyes upon his children and watches over their coming and going always. But sometime God tests our faith. He does allow evil to test us through tribulation and suffering. Hence we feel like God has left us. He is not listening to our prayers.

But God is very good. He is using the suffering on our behalf to discipline us, to bring us close to him. Have faith, keep praying. God will deliver you out of all troubles just at the right time.
