Lavonne is a Singer/Songwriter with a powerhouse sound. She is a multifaceted force to be reckoned with. She is best known for her role as the opening act for Grammy Award-winning performer, Gloria Gaynor. Lavonne’s new single, “Trust” is infused with gospel roots and highlights her diverse vocal range. Lavonne Nichols is also an actress and community advocate. 

 “I believe people hear hope when they hear my sound. I have been fighting all of my life to use my voice. I was born with a cleft palate which means I was born with a hole at the roof of my mouth that could have negatively affected my voice and my way of life completely. I went through surgery as a baby and I needed to wear casts on both of my arms for months to make sure I didn't put my hands in my mouth. God gave me the victory and I vowed to help others with my voice,” said Lavonne.
