We just recently had America celebrate its day of independence. The day the Declaration of Independence was signed July 4th 1776. A document that states that "...all men are created equal..." yet every individual who signed it owned slaves. That being said is this a day ADOS should be celebrating? Why isn't Juneteenth a National holiday or at least more significant to us? What can we learn from the LBGTQ community in establishing and maintaining ourselves as a strong independent entity?
