In the art of successful communication with others, our starting point is not what we can clearly say or explain. Rather, our starting point and key is to be silent and listen. Can we humble ourselves enough to prioritize the message of others first? Can we have the patience and love to first seek to understand the other before insisting on being understood by them? Many broken relationships are mended by simply listening, asking questions, and seeking understanding.
